About the course:
This qualification equips learners with the experience and skills needed to develop a career in childcare in an array of settings. Areas covered in the modules include Understanding child and young person development; supporting children and young people to achieve their full academic potential as well as promoting their well-being.
You don’t need to have completed Level 1 to enroll in the Level 2 Certificate, no prior experience or knowledge is required. However, a placement in a nursery is essential to complete your practical observations. These will be conducted by a work-based assessor.
If you're an international student based in Toronto, Canada, or Grenada, we will require direct contact with your employer, nursery manager, or school principal. The same requirement applies to EU students.

On successful completion of this course, students will be awarded an Level 2 Certificare for the Childrens and Young Peoples Workforce. This qualification has been accredited on the Regulated Qualifications Framework. .
